
She has a Bachelor's degree in judicial law and is a lawyer. She is
one of the former record holders in Iranian shot-put.
She was a member of the Iranian national track and field team from
1977 to 1984 and was the first Iranian track and field athlete in shot-put for
about 9 years. "Behzadi" has a coaching and refereeing degree in 2nd
and 3rd grade and is an Excellent Fitness Coach from the National Olympic
Committee. In 2015, Parisa Behzadi was named as the first top female sports
director in the country.
She has also coached athletics in the Federations of the Deaf and the
Blind and managed to win the 3rd place with the Blind Team in World
Championship. Her athletes also secured London 2012 Paralympic Games berth. She
is also a member of the Sports Law Commission and a lawyer for the National
Olympic Committee, and has been a national and international referee in sports
for the disabled for 10 years. Another point about "Behzadi" is that
she is the first girl sent to international and the Asian Championships.
Behzadi was appointed as Acting Vice President of the Women's by the President
of the Iranian Athletics Federation in April 2013.
