Born
on December 30, 1974 in Tehran, is a former athlete in swimming, athletics,
volleyball, and an international coach and instructor in the jumps of Athletics
Federation. Bolourizadeh, who has a Master's degree in Physical Education and Sports
Science, was selected as the best female athlete in Iran in 2003 and in 2001 and
as one of the top ten athletes in Iran. In 2011, as the fitness coach of the
Azad University Team, she became the Champion of the Iranian Women's Basketball
League. She currently holds the record for the pentathlon, heptathlon and 60m
hurdles in Iran, and in 1996, broke Maryam Sedarati’s record in the Iranian
women's high jump with by 1.64m after 23 years. Bolourizadeh has won 4 gold
medals in five events, 60m hurdles and high jump and 4 in 200 meters in 3
disciplines of the Islamic Games (1993, 1997 and 2001).
Volleyball
In
2000, she became the national champion in the first division volleyball league
of Iran as a member of Homa Tehran volleyball club. In addition, she has won
the National Women's Volleyball League in 1999, 2000, 2004 and 2003, and the
runner-up in 2005 and 2007.
Bolourizadeh
has also been a player and captain of the Iranian women's national volleyball
team since 1993. Among her volleyball honors, we can mention the second place in
the first tournament of Islamic Students in 1993, the second place in the
second tournament of Islamic Countries in 1997 and the second place in the
third tournament of Islamic countries in 2001.
