Born on June 1, 1958 - Isfahan is an Iranian reformist politician. In the governments of Mohammad Javad Bahonar and Mir Hossein Mousavi, he was the Minister of Industry, and in the second government of Hashemi Rafsanjani and the first government of Seyyed Mohammad Khatami from 1994 to 2002 was the Vice President and President of the Physical Education Organization. He was also the President of National Olympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran from 1986 to 1988 and from 1996 to 2004. In April 2014, Hashemitaba was introduced by Mahmoud Goodarzi, the Minister of Sports and Youth, as his advisor on infrastructure, investment and development of the country's sports. He has a Master's degree in textile from Amirkabir University of Tehran and a is specialist in analysis system from the Industrial Management Organization
