The National Olympic Academy is currently hosting a three-day cultural and educational seminar for the Iranian delegation bound for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, focusing on the promotion of core Olympic values.

NOC; Tehran: In alignment with International Olympic Committee (IOC) guidelines,
the program emphasized that participation is about more than just medals; it
aimed to instill the ethical and cultural foundations of the Olympic movement
in the athletes. The sessions featured insights from prominent sports figures
and experts, including Dr. Nasrollah Sajjadi, Dr. Asghar Rahimi, IOC Member
Soraya Aghaei and Olympian Hassan Taftian, who guide the attendees on their roles
as “Young Ambassadors.” The initiative concluded with a formal closing ceremony
and team farewell. This final session was attended by senior officials from the
Ministry of Sport and Youth and the National Olympic Committee, as well as the
coaches and staff of the delegation, to mark the final phase of the team’s
preparation.
