medical readiness, and transportation strategies ahead of the upcoming Games in
Japan. The meeting, chaired by the NOC leadership and Chef de Mission Asghar
Rahimi, evaluated the progress made across previous sessions. Despite the
complex geographical spread of the host venues and frequent schedule
adjustments by organizers, the delegation confirmed that all preparatory
programs remain on schedule. NOC The President emphasized on the importance of
proactive planning to ensure that all Iranian teams receive comprehensive
support, minimizing any potential disruptions during the event.
Key
operational topics discussed included the distribution of team gear, the
digital mapping tools via QR codes for athletes and staff to navigate
accommodations and venues, and the finalization of local transportation
contracts for team mobility. The meeting also reviewed ongoing anti-doping
registrations, medical screenings, and the allocation of financial resources.
With the Games set to take place from September 18 to October 3, 2026, the NOC
is continuing to organize specialized sports management training and media
coordination to ensure the delegation is fully equipped for a successful
campaign.
