The Education Commission held its fifth session at the National Olympic Academy to review and approve the “Young Olympic Ambassadors” initiative for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The meeting, chaired by Dr. Elham
Shirzad, featured a detailed presentation on the proposed two-day seminar
tailored for athletes preparing for the upcoming Youth Olympic Games. The
initiative aims to equip young athletes with necessary skills and insights
ahead of the international competition. The framework, objectives, and structure of the
plan—developed through specialized working group sessions and coordination with
the delegation head and National Olympic Committee directors—were thoroughly
analyzed. Following constructive feedback from the commission members, the
proposal was finalized and officially approved. This two-day event is scheduled
to take place at the National Olympic Academy prior to the official departure
of the delegation for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
