Japanese Ambassador to Tehran, Tsukada Tamaki, visited the National Olympic Committee to pay tribute at the memorial site for the late Supreme Leader, subsequently pledging full support for the Iranian sports delegation to the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

Olympic Committee has established a dedicated memorial site to allow the sports
community and foreign dignitaries to honor the late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei.
Upon his arrival at the NOC and being welcomed by Secretary-General Dr. Mahdi
Alinejad and officials, Ambassador Tsukada proceeded directly to this memorial,
where he laid flowers to pay his respects.
Following the tribute, the
Ambassador held a cordial meeting with NOC President Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa.
During the session, he emphasized the full commitment of the Japanese Embassy
and the Games’ Organizing Committee to ensuring the seamless participation of
the Iranian delegation in the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, describing this
cooperation as a testament to mutual respect and the continued expansion of
sports and cultural ties between the two nations.
