supervisory efforts as the countdown to the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games
approaches. Secretary-General Dr. Mahdi Alinejad, joined by Executive Board
members conducted a series of strategic visits this week. The primary objective
was to audit the current readiness of elite athletes, address critical
infrastructure needs, and ensure that all financial and logistical barriers are
removed to provide an optimal environment for competition.
In
the 3x3 basketball camps, the delegation underscored the growing global
significance of this modern, high-intensity discipline. Dr. Alinejad praised
the efforts of the athletes, emphasizing on the importance of international
exposure. The NOC Secretary-General reiterated that with almost fifty days
remaining until the Games, every resource is being optimized to ensure the
athletes peak at the right moment. He also noted that while the high
expectations surrounding the team are a testament to their track record, they
require a proper strategic approach
