The seventh weekly coordination meeting of the delegation to the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games was held at the National Olympic Committee.

NOC; Tehran: The meeting was attended by Asghar Rahimi, Chef de Mission of the
delegation to the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. At the beginning of the session,
Rahimi reviewed the course of previous meetings and the decisions already
taken, while stressing the need for closer coordination in organizing training
courses for coaches and athletes, medical examination and anti-doping programs,
as well as other related sessions.
Among
the main issues discussed were the preparation of clothing and luggage for
delegation members, the purchase of medical supplies that have already been
approved, and continued follow-up to secure approval for other medical items
from the Games Organizing Committee. The meeting also addressed ticketing
arrangements, the delivery of accreditation cards to national teams traveling
directly to Japan, the number of teams and athletes who have already undergone
medical examinations, and the cases of athletes requiring additional check-ups
to safeguard their health. Other topics included meeting certain supplementary
needs of teams that may have even a short stopover on their travel route, as
well as producing photo and video content from athletes’ medical examinations
and delegation preparations for media coverage during the Asian Games.
