The Iranian national swimming team concluded its campaign at the 12th Asian Age Group Championships in Bangkok with an impressive total of nine medals.

NOC; Tehran: The squad competed across diving, water polo, and swimming events
throughout the continental championship. Guided by coach Meysam Saadati and
team manager Jamal Chavoshifar, the team showcased significant talent, with
athletes including Alireza Arab, Kiaram Kiani, Danial Jahangiri, Mohammad-Mehdi
Gholami, Parsa Shahshahani, and Amir-Ali Sabeti contributing to the impressive
medal count.
The
team’s gold medalists were Mohammad-Mehdi Gholami in the 100m butterfly and
Alireza Arab in the 50m breaststroke. Iran also secured two silver medals in
the 4x100m freestyle and 4x100m medley relay events. Additionally, five bronze
medals were awarded to Danial Jahangiri (200m and 100m freestyle), Parsa
Shahshahani (200m backstroke), Amir-Ali Sabeti (50m freestyle), and the 4x100m
freestyle relay team.
In
total, four medals were earned in individual events, while five were won in
relay competitions. This balanced distribution of success highlights the
overall strength and depth of the Iranian swimming program, marking a highly
successful performance at the regional level.
