Following a commanding first-half lead of 32-6, the team maintained their
momentum to finish the game with a resounding 63-14 win, earning Mohammad
Babaladi the title of Player of the Match. This victory brings Iran to seven
points in Group B, successfully advancing from a challenging pool that included
formidable opponents like Qatar, Japan, and South Korea. The team is now
awaiting the conclusion other matches to determine their opponent for the quarter-final
clash scheduled for Friday. The 19th Asian Men’s Youth Handball Championship,
hosted in Chuzhou, China, runs with top four teams from this tournament will
earn direct qualification for the upcoming World Championship.
