Health Coaching Course Advances with Sessions for Sports NF Doctors
The second and third sessions of the specialized “Health Coaching” course for doctors working in sports federations were held as part of a two-month program aimed at improving athletes’ health monitoring and promoting healthier lifestyles.

Iran NOC; Tehran: The course, launched with the direct support of the IOC Olympic Solidarity Unit, is designed to help reduce physical inactivity and strengthen preventive medical oversight in elite sport. The next session covered core topics in sports medicine, including exercise physiology, sports nutrition and hydration, applied anatomy, and pre-hospital emergency care, with instruction on first aid, patient transport, BLS and ALS. The third session, focused on medical supervision in training design. Lectures addressed physical activity assessment, endurance and strength training planning, training-session structure, overload principles, international physical activity guidelines, and seasonal medical risks. The final segment examined common environmental conditions such as frostbite, altitude illness, heatstroke, sunburn, seasonal allergies, insect and animal bites, and jet lag.
