Iran’s men’s sitting volleyball team secured its ninth world championship title after defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina, while also earning qualification for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games.

Volleyball Championships was held in Hangzhou, China, where Iran beat Bosnia
and Herzegovina 3-1 to claim the gold medal. Iran won the first, second and
fourth sets 25-21, 25-20 and 25-16, while losing the third set 25-20. The team
completed the tournament unbeaten under head coach Hadi Rezaei and secured its
place at the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.
