Athletes in karate, shooting, skating, athletics, badminton and water polo have begun undergoing comprehensive medical examinations as part of preparations for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Japan.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The medical assessments are being
conducted based on a scheduled programme at the Sports Medicine Centre of the
Azadi Sports Complex, the National Olympic Academy and the central clinic of
the Sports Medicine Federation to ensure optimal support and readiness for the
country’s delegation. The examinations include anti-doping consultations,
nutrition advice, vision tests, internal medicine assessments, cardiovascular
evaluations, electrocardiograms, orthopaedic examinations, psychological
consultations and sports medicine reviews. The 20th edition of the Asian Games
will be held from 19 September to 4 October 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, with
Iran continuing its preparations to ensure the best possible conditions for its
athletes ahead of the continental event.
