The 18th session of the National Olympic Committee’s Sports Psychology and Counseling Commission convened to refine specialized support services and plan upcoming Olympic Solidarity programs.
Iran
NOC; Tehran: The meeting began with Dr. Naser Sobhi Ghara-Maleki, the
commission Chair, outlining protocols for executing the programs proposed by
the NOA Sports Psychology Center. Members subsequently deliberated on service
delivery methods, ultimately resolving to reactivate the specialized working
group dedicated to optimizing psychological support for the delegation bound
for the Aichi–Nagoya Games.
In
the session’s concluding segment, Dr. Amin Rafiei-Pour presented the framework
for developing the Olympic Solidarity Sports Psychology course, an initiative
previously agreed upon by the commission chair and the NOA Director. Following
a review of member feedback, it was decided that a dedicated working group be
established to draft the formal proposal, which will then be submitted to the
commission for final approval.
