Integration of AI & Digital Governance in National Sports
The National Olympic Committee’s Technology and Innovation Department has convened its sixth session to accelerate the adoption of data-driven strategies and AI solutions to optimize Olympic athlete performance.

Iran NOC; Tehran: This expert meeting focused on advancing digital governance and leveraging modern technological infrastructures. The session served as a platform for knowledge-based enterprises to present technical solutions aimed at enhancing the efficiency of national teams through innovation and data analytics.

 

Dr. Mohammad Norouzi of the Part AI Research Center detailed their comprehensive capabilities in machine vision, natural language processing, and data mining. Key innovations discussed included the deployment of Digital Twins for national teams, sensor less real-time player tracking, and AI-powered coaching assistants.

 

The meeting concluded with a review of products from leading startups identified during the February 2026. “From Idea to Business” event. Following a proposal by Mohammad Hossein Maleki, head of the Technology and Innovation Department, members approved a strategic directive to introduce these knowledge-based firms and startups to national sports federations, aimed at integrating domestic technological capacity directly into the elite sports ecosystem.
