Dr. Alireza Pakdel, President of the Handball Federation, presented a plaque of appreciation to Dr. Mohammad Tabe, Director of the National Olympic Academy, to acknowledge the NOA’s efforts and support in advancing handball’s success.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The meeting between officials of the Handball
Federation and the National Olympic Academy focused on preparations for the
upcoming Asian Games. Dr. Pakdel emphasized on the federation’s primary
concern: ensuring optimal readiness for the handball team to achieve success at
the Games. He also discussed coordination for the training camps, facilitating
the use of the academy’s facilities for the athletes.
Dr. Tabe reiterated the National Olympic Academy’s commitment to
its mission of supporting Iranian sports. He stated that the Academy places all
its specialized facilities and resources for the Handball Federation and other
sports disciplines, aiming to elevate Iranian sports on the international stage
and ensure the nation’s flag is prominently displayed in upcoming major events.
Concluding the session, Pakdel expressed his gratitude for the
National Olympic Academy’s longstanding cooperation. He highlighted how the
academy’s provision of essential facilities, including accommodation and
training venues, has significantly contributed to the growth and achievements
of handball in Iran. He presented a memorial to Dr. Tabe and Ali Farahani, the
Executive Deputy of the Academy, in recognition of their contributions.
