The Iranian national Karate team concluded the 22nd Asian Karate Championships in Indonesia as runners-up, finishing the competition with a total of nine medals.

secured three gold, one silver, and five bronze medals. This performance
solidified Iran’s position on the podium, trailing only Japan, which claimed
the championship title with five gold medals. The tournament, which hosted 114
athletes from 33 countries, saw Kazakhstan round out the top three. The overall
standings highlighted the competitive landscape of the region, with Iran
maintaining its status as a powerhouse in continental karate. National Olympic Committee congratulated the success in a message, as well.
