The National Olympic Committee of Iran and the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Organizing Committee held an online Pre-Delegation Registration Meeting (Pre-DRM) to finalize the registration process for the upcoming Asian Games.

NOC; Tehran: During the two-hour session, Chef de Mission Dr. Asghar Rahimi,
along with officials from the NOC International Relations Department, discussed
technical procedures and entry requirements for the Iranian delegation. The
meeting focused on resolving administrative ambiguities and ensuring a smooth
accreditation process for athletes and officials. Organizers confirmed that
official responses to the Iranian NOC’s inquiries regarding registration
logistics will be provided within the next week to clear any remaining
procedural hurdles. This coordination meeting is a critical step before the
final Delegation Registration Meeting (DRM) for the 20th Asian Games in Japan.
