Asian Games Coaches Attend Seminar on Injury & Illness Prevention
The third specialized seminar for coaches selected for the Nagoya Asian Games convened, focusing on crucial aspects of preventing sports injuries and illnesses, as part of an ongoing educational series.

Iran NOC; Tehran: The National Olympic Academy, in collaboration with the National Teams Monitoring Center of the National Olympic Committee, hosted the third specialized session for coaches participating in the Nagoya Asian Games. Held at the Academy’s Shahid Tehranchi Hall, the seminar addressed the vital topic of “Prevention of Sports Injuries and Illnesses.”

This session is part of a series of six planned workshops designed to enhance and refresh the knowledge of the national team coaches So far, two previous sessions have been conducted, focusing on “Psychological Considerations, Stress Management, and Resilience” and “Training Science and Control of the National Teams’ Preparation Process.” The current seminar saw approximately fifty coaches attending both in-person and online, underscoring the importance placed on this aspect of athlete preparation.

The remaining three workshops in the series will cover “Nutrition: Do’s and Don’ts,” “Post-Training and Competition Monitoring and Care (Recovery),” and “Doping: Prevention and Awareness of Sports Supplements.” These sessions are scheduled to take place on subsequent Mondays.
