Officials of Iran’s National Olympic Committee held a second coordination meeting to review preparations for the country’s delegation to the Aichi–Nagoya Asian Games.

NOC; Tehran: The second coordination meeting on preparations for Iran’s
delegation to the Aichi–Nagoya Asian Games was held with the participation of
officials from various operational and technical departments of the National
Olympic Committee.
At
the start of the meeting, Dr. Asghar Rahimi, Chef de Mission of Iranian
delegation to the upcoming Asian Games, presented a report on the latest
managerial and coordination efforts between the National Olympic Committee and
the Ministry of Sport and Youth regarding the final composition of the
delegation. He expressed optimism that the list of athletes and teams
representing Iran would soon be finalized, noting that once the roster is
confirmed, planning and operational activities across different sections of the
delegation will proceed with greater precision and speed.
During
the meeting, Dr. Reza Shajie, Director of the National Teams Monitoring Center,
outlined the latest technical status of the sports expected to participate in
the Games. He also provided details on educational workshops and training
courses organized for coaches of teams preparing for the Aichi–Nagoya event. Representatives
of various committees responsible for different operational areas of the
delegation—including sports medicine, international affairs, protocol, logistics
and support, finance, public relations, transportation, accommodation and other
administrative units—also presented reports on their recent activities,
upcoming plans and existing challenges.
The
meeting further reviewed several key operational matters, including sports
medicine services, delegation uniforms, travel arrangements and ticketing
procedures, as well as the latest communications and requirements issued by the
Games’ organizing committee. Participants emphasized on the importance of close
coordination among all departments involved in preparing the national
delegation.
