4 Iranian Officials Invited for Technical Roles to Asian Games
The Asian Wushu Federation has officially invited four Iranian officials to serve in technical and international officiating roles at the Aichi–Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.

Iran NOC; Tehran: The appointments were confirmed by the Asian Wushu Federation in a formal letter to the Iranian Wushu Federation. The Wushu Federation of Asia (WFA) informed Iran that the Aichi–Nagoya 2026 Asian Games Organizing Committee (AINAGOC) has extended official invitations to four Iranian experts as International Technical Officials (ITOs) for the Games.

 

The decision reflects the ongoing cooperation between the Iranian Wushu Federation and both continental and international governing bodies, as well as recognition of the experience, commitment, and technical expertise of Iranian referees and medical officials in international competitions. The Wushu events will take place from September 20 to 24 at the Aichi Martial Arts Hall.

 

The appointed officials include Mehrdad Shirazi, Chair of the Technical Committee of the Iranian Wushu Federation, serving as Sanda Jury President; Amir Abbas Lashkari, Chair of the Medical Committee and Board Member, serving as Taolu Medical Supervisor; Majid Khobyari, Chair of Education and Research Committee, serving as Sanda Judge; and Mohammad Fathirad, international referee, serving as Taolu Judge.
