The National Olympic Committee (NOC) Peace and Sport Commission held its monthly session yesterday, focusing on the strategic planning for the upcoming 2nd International and 3rd National Peace and Sport Conference.
During the meeting, commission members
emphasized the necessity of seamless coordination with NOC leadership to ensure
the high-level execution of the event. A significant resolution was passed to
invite the “Peace and Sport Champions” from previous editions to the
forthcoming summit. Key appointments were also finalized: Shahin Soltanpour was
named Secretary of the Scientific Division, and Majid Nasiri was appointed
Secretary of the Festival Division. The session concluded with a formal
commendation of Mr. Amir Tavasoli for his distinguished contributions to the
2025 Peace and Sport Conference. The meeting was presided over by Commission
Chair Hamid Ghasemi, alongside Secretary S.M. Kazem Mousavi and a panel of
esteemed commission members.
