English Language Program Launched for Asian Games Coaches
The first English language training course organized by the National Olympic Academy’s Language Center commenced, bringing together a group of coaches shortlisted for participation in the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

Iran NOC; Tehran: The initiative has been launched by the Academy’s Education Center to enhance the English proficiency of coaches, athletes and team officials from federations under the National Olympic Committee. Following a call for nominations, candidate federations introduced coaches for the program, who were subsequently assessed by the Academy’s language instructors before joining the inaugural session, held simultaneously online and in person at the National Olympic Academy.

Delivered by experienced English language instructors, the program is currently offered free of charge. Future phases will include sport-specific terminology and communication modules tailored to individual disciplines. According to the Academy’s plans, priority will be given to coaches preparing for upcoming major events, including the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, the Dakar Youth Olympic Games and the 2026 Asian Indoor Games, before the courses are expanded to interested athletes across all sports. Additional specialized educational programs are also expected to be announced in the near future.
