Training Science Seminar for Asian Games Coaches Holds
The second specialized seminar for coaches preparing for the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games focused on training science and monitoring the preparation process of national teams, bringing together dozens of coaches from across the country.

Iran NOC; Tehran: Organized by the National Olympic Committee, the session followed last week’s opening seminar on psychological considerations, stress management and resilience.  The four-hour workshop was led by Dr. Bahman Mirzaei and Dr. Hamid Rajabi, under the supervision of course director Dr. Nasser Pirvardizadeh, and was attended by coaches nominated for the upcoming Asian Games.

 

A total of 50 coaches participated in person, while 20 joined online. The program covered key topics in training science, including prioritization, peaking strategies, transition phases and competition preparation. The seminar forms part of an ongoing educational series for national team coaches, with upcoming sessions addressing athlete psychology, injury prevention and management, sports nutrition, recovery monitoring, anti-doping education, and training process management.
