The 64th session of the Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee was held with the participation of the Minister of Sports and Youth and senior officials.

NOC; Tehran: The joint meeting was attended by Ahmad Donyamali, Minister of
Sports and Youth; Seyed Shervin Esbaghian, Deputy for Championship and
Professional Sports Development; Seyed Manaf Hashemi, Deputy for Management and
Resources Development; Alireza Rahimi, Deputy for Youth Affairs; Fariba
Mohammadian, Deputy for Women’s Sports Development; Mohammad Hossein Hashemi,
Deputy for Sports for all Development; and Mohammadreza Nazari, Deputy for
Legal, Parliamentary and Provincial Affairs. The session took place at the
headquarters of the National Olympic Committee.
The
meeting, attended by members of the Executive Board, focused on enhancing
coordination between the Ministry of Sports and the National Olympic Committee,
reviewing key national sporting issues, and planning upcoming elite sport
programs. Participants evaluated the latest preparations of the Iranian
delegation for the upcoming Asian Games in Aichi–Nagoya, including the process
of federation participation. Discussions also addressed support strategies,
operational planning, and measures to achieve optimal performance at the event.
Officials
emphasized the importance of synergy and coordination among national sports
organizations to ensure favorable conditions for Iran’s athletes and the realization
of performance goals. Attending the session were Mr. Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa,
President of the National Olympic Committee; Dr. Gholamreza Norouzi and Dr. Mahin
Farhadizad, Vice Presidents; Dr. Mahdi Alinejad, Secretary-General; and other
members including the IOC Member Ms. Soraya Aghaei.
