Coaches for Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Attend Psychology Session
The first in a series of specialized sessions for coaches nominated for the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games convened focusing on psychological considerations, stress management, and resilience.

Iran NOC; Tehran: The event was organized by the National Teams Monitoring Center of the National Olympic Committee and held at the Paralympic Conference Hall. The session was led by Dr. Reza Shajie, Director of the National Teams Monitoring Center. Fifty male and female coaches attended in person, with an additional 20 participating online.

The workshop featured both theoretical and practical components, with contributions from Dr. Vahid Nakhaei Moghadam, Ahmad Ghazi Asgar, Secretary of the Psychology Commission, and Dr. Naser Pirverdizadeh, the course director. Recognizing the critical pressures coaches face during competitions and their impact on athletes and technical staff, the seminar addressed strategies for stress management, building resilience, making necessary predictions, handling environmental and non-environmental stressors, and emotion control, among other vital aspects. These specialized sessions for the Nagoya-bound coaches are scheduled to take place every Monday. The following week’s session will concentrate on managing preparation and training periodization, at the same venue.
