Members of the National Olympic Committee’s (NOC) Athletes’ Commission visited the national men’s artistic gymnastics training camp to assess the squad’s preparation progress ahead of the upcoming Asian Championships.

NOC; Tehran: During the visit, Milad Vaziri, Vice Chair of the Commission,
accompanied by members Haniyeh Rostamian and Negin Altoni, and Jamal Shayegan,
expert from the National Teams Monitoring Center, met with athletes and
coaching staff. The delegation offered their encouragement to the national
gymnasts and expressed their well wishes for the team’s upcoming performance. The
national squad, featuring Mehdi Ahmadkohani, Mehdi Olfati, Mohammadreza
Khosronejad, Hooman Jafari, and Amir-Abbas Mojahed, is currently training for
the Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships, which are scheduled to commence in
China on June 18.

Naghavi, Acting President of the Gymnastics Federation, provided the delegation
with a comprehensive briefing on the current status of national team training
camps, preparation schedules, and the logistics for the team’s deployment to
the regional tournament. Milad Vaziri stated that the primary objective of the
visit was to engage directly with the coaching staff and athletes to address
their concerns. He emphasized that the issues and requests raised during the
visit would be documented and formally conveyed to the relevant authorities for
further action.
