Iran’s women’s gymnastics secured its first-ever official international medal as the synchronized trampoline pair of Yalda Hassan-Shokati and Shaghayegh Cheraghi claimed Asian silver in their debut appearance.

NOC; Tehran: The Asian Trampoline Championships, held in Hong Kong, continued
with a landmark achievement for Iran. In the senior women’s synchronized
trampoline event, the duo of Yalda Hassan-Shokati and Shaghayegh Cheraghi
earned the Asian runner-up title and the silver medal, marking the first
official international medal in the history of Iranian women’s gymnastics. This
historic result came in what is recognized as the first official international participation
of Iran’s women gymnasts in the Asian Championships since the revolution.
