The fourth specialized meeting of the Technology and Innovation Department of the National Olympic Committee was held with the participation of department members.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The meeting
focused on strengthening technological and scientific support for national
teams. During the session, Dr. Reza Shajie, Director of the National Teams
Monitoring Center, presented the Center’s smart monitoring system, which has
been launched to enhance oversight of national teams, including competitions,
training camps, technical monitoring, athlete profiling, and medal potential
analysis. The system integrates comprehensive data from sporting events,
training evaluations, psychological and physical assessments, medical records,
and injury monitoring, aiming to support data-driven decision-making.
The meeting also reviewed initial
concepts for a proposed National Sports Innovation Award. At the conclusion,
participants emphasized the importance of utilizing modern technologies and
artificial intelligence in the development of Iranian sport.
