A senior policy and coordination meeting on the participation of the Iranian delegation to the Nagoya 2026 Asian Games was held in the presence of the Minister of Sports and Youth and the President of the National Olympic Committee.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The meeting focused on macro-level policy-making and
the coordination of necessary arrangements to ensure a strong participation of the
delegation at the Nagoya Asian Games. The session was attended by the Minister
of Sports and Youth, the Deputy Minister of Professional Sports Development,
the President and Secretary-General of the National Olympic Committee, the
Director General of Planning and Supervision for Professional Sports, and the Chef
De Mission of the Iranian Delegation to Asian Games.
During the meeting, the overall framework of participation in the
Nagoya Asian Games, performance objectives, support approaches for national
federations and teams, executive requirements, and inter-sectoral coordination
were reviewed. Officials emphasized on the importance of accurate planning,
managerial cohesion, continuous monitoring of programs, targeted resource
management, and the optimal use of technical and support capacities to ensure
an organized, cohesive, and successful presence of Iranian athletes at the
Games.
