Senior officials of the National Olympic Committee of Iran held separate meetings with the heads of the Judo and Athletics Federations to review national team preparations for the 2026 Nagoya Asian Games and the upcoming Olympic cycle.
Iran NOC; Tehran: During a visit to the Judo Federation, NOC
Secretary-General Dr. Mahdi Alinajad met with Federation President Arash
Mirasmaeili, along with national team head coach Rashad Mammadov and Federation
Secretary Peyman Torkashvand. The parties reviewed the technical and
preparation programs for the national team and emphasized continuous
institutional support for future success.
In a separate meeting at the NOC, Athletics Federation President Ehsan
Haddadi met with NOC President Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa and presented a report on
the team’s preparation process for the 2026 Asian Games and the Los Angeles
Olympics, including the addition of three foreign coaches to the national team
setup. Khosravi Vafa reaffirmed the NOC’s full support for the federation’s
programs to ensure optimal preparation for upcoming competitions.
