The Olympic Solidarity Sports Management Course for managers from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology officially got underway at the National Olympic Academy, with the presence of Dr. Mahdi Alinejad, Secretary General of National Olympic Committee, and Amir Balzadeh, Director of the Olympic Solidarity Department.
Iran NOC; Tehran: Alinejad stated
that the main objective of holding these courses is to familiarize sports
managers with the principles of the Olympic Movement and related concepts,
stressing the importance of shared knowledge and unified thinking in sport
management. He also described the Advanced Sports Management Course as one of
the most important Olympic Solidarity programmes held under the direct
supervision and support of the International Olympic Committee. Dr. Amir Balzadeh
noted that the course is held under IOC supervision to enhance the managerial
knowledge of Iran’s sports administrators, adding that successful participants
will receive official certification and may qualify for advanced Olympic
Solidarity courses. The four-day course is being held from December 6 to 9 at
the National Olympic Academy.
