Iran Continues Strong Medal Run at Riyadh 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games
By the end of the fourth day of competition at the Riyadh 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games, Iran’s delegation known as the “Ambassadors of Strength” has collected a total of 22 medals, including 4 gold, 4 silver and 14 bronze, ranking eighth overall.

Iran NOC; Tehran: The gold medals came from women’s Weightlifting, Karate and men’s Futsal, marking a strong day for the team. Mahsa Beheshti took gold in the 86kg weightlifting category, while Fatemeh Sadeghi and Sara Bahmanyar won in karate’s kata and –50kg events respectively. The men’s futsal team completed the success with a decisive 5–0 win over Morocco in the final. Iran’s additional medals came from Swimming, Table Tennis and Volleyball, where the women’s team celebrated its first victory. The delegation now looks ahead to upcoming competitions in Athletics, Archery and Taekwondo.
