The Iranian delegation, titled “Ambassadors of Hope,” achieved a remarkable rise at the 3rd Asian Youth Games Bahrain 2025, finishing fourth overall with a total of 76 medals — 22 gold, 18 silver and 36 bronze — marking a 16-place improvement compared to the previous edition.

performances in 19 disciplines, with nearly 70 per cent of its athletes earning medals. Women claimed 47 per cent of the team’s total, while Iran also shared the top
spot with China in the number of medal-winning sports. Compared with Nanjing 2013, Iran’s total medal count grew by 950 per
cent, capturing 8.5 per cent of all medals awarded at Bahrain 2025 — the country’s best-ever result in the history of the Asian
Youth Games.
