More than 800 Iranian athletes preparing for major international events in 2025 have undergone medical examinations conducted by the Sports Medicine Federation, according to its President, Dr. Gholamreza Norouzi.

stated that within the past 23 days, over 800 national athletes from various
sports have received specialized medical check-ups as part of a coordinated
program organized in cooperation with the National Olympic Committee and
national federations. The examinations are part of the federation’s preparation
plan for major upcoming events, including the Asian Youth Games Bahrain 2025,
the Islamic Solidarity Games Riyadh 2025, the Deaflympics Japan 2025, and the
Asian Youth Para Games UAE 2025. He added that the federation will continue to provide
full medical support to Iranian delegations during these events, ensuring that
athletes can focus on their performance with confidence in their health and
care.
