With the presence of Dr. Mahdi Alinejad at Imam Khomeini International Airport, the largest Iranian sports delegation departed for Bahrain.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The third and
largest group of Iranian athletes taking part in the 3rd Asian Youth Games
Bahrain 2025 left for Manama in the presence of Dr. Alinejad, Secretary-General
of the National Olympic Committee of Iran. Dr. Alinejad left for the airport to
oversee the departure process and bid farewell to the country’s largest delegation.
The delegation includes women’s Futsal, Taekwondo, Martial Arts, Golf, Muay Thai,
Triathlon, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Boxing teams and media staff, totaling
134 members. Earlier, teams in men’s Volleyball and Handball, medical staff,
men’s and women’s Kabaddi, Pencak silat, Kurash, men’s Beach Volleyball, and
women’s indoor Handball had already departed for Manama.
