                    Iran NOC; Tehran: The agreement
was signed in Tehran by Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa, President of the NOC, and Amir
Khorakian, President of the Malek National Library and Museum.
During the meeting, Khosravi Vafa
underlined the shared cultural and spiritual values between sport and society
in Iran, highlighting that many athletes dedicate their victories and medals to
Imam Reza as a sign of gratitude and devotion. He noted that such gestures turn
athletic achievements into lasting symbols of national pride. Khorakian
described the collaboration as a valuable cultural initiative aimed at linking
sport, history, and art. He said the MoU covers areas such as preservation,
exhibition, and exchange of sports-related artifacts, allowing the public to
connect more closely with the achievements of Iranian champions and the
country’s sporting heritage. Both sides expressed hope that this cooperation
would create new opportunities for joint exhibitions and cultural events
celebrating the spirit of Iranian sport.
