OCA Stresses Key Role of Broadcasters for Aichi-Nagoya 2026
The Olympic Council of Asia has highlighted the essential contribution of broadcasting partners in shaping the success of the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.

Iran NOC; Tehran: In a message to delegates at the 1st World Broadcasters Meeting in Nagoya, OCA Director General Husain Al Musallam stated that live television and digital coverage remain central to engaging millions of fans worldwide. Representing him, OCA Media and Broadcast Director Jeans Zhou Jian expressed confidence that broadcasters will help make the Games a regional success story. Around 60 participants from 20 broadcasters, including Mediacorp, beIN Sports, Astro, China Media Group, SBS, KBS, and major Japanese networks such as NHK and Fuji TV, attended the meeting. The event precedes the 1st World Press Briefing as the OCA and AINAGOC step up preparations for Asia’s biggest multi-sport event, taking place from September 19 to October 4, 2026.
