The National Olympic Committee has intensified preparations for two major upcoming events — the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh and the Asian Beach Games in Sanya — through a series of coordination meetings involving senior officials and federations.
Iran NOC; Tehran: These sessions,
held at the NOC headquarters, brought together representatives from key sports
including volleyball, football, taekwondo, athletics, swimming, and basketball.
Each federation presented its readiness reports, athlete selection updates, and
logistical plans for travel, equipment, and team management. The meetings
focused on finalizing team rosters, ensuring medical and anti-doping
compliance, and addressing administrative procedures for both events. Special
attention was given to disciplines with medal potential such as volleyball,
futsal, taekwondo, and beach football, as well as water sports and athletics,
which will feature expanded athlete participation. Iran’s presence in both
Riyadh and Sanya will be marked by full participation across men’s and women’s
categories, reflecting the country’s growing investment in multisport
preparation and international visibility. The NOC leadership emphasized the
importance of discipline, unity, and cultural representation under the banner
of “Ambassadors of Strength,” the official slogan for Iran’s delegation. With
comprehensive coordination now in place, Iran enters the final stage of
preparation aiming to achieve strong performances and reaffirm its regional
standing in both the Islamic and Asian Beach Games.
