The first meeting of the Coaches’ Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Iran was held on, with the participation of NOC President Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa, Vice President, Secretary-General Dr. Mahdi Alinejad and members of the commission.
Iran NOC; Tehran: During the
session, the official appointments of the commission’s chair and members were
presented, followed by discussions on the proposed bylaws addressing key issues
such as job codes, insurance, and remuneration for coaches. The commission also
reviewed measures for professional coach education programs at the National
Olympic Academy and emphasized the importance of aligning with international
standards to strengthen Iran’s presence in global sports governance. The draft
bylaws were approved by majority vote, while further exchanges focused on
enhancing knowledge-sharing among coaches across sports and reflecting the
cultural and professional status of coaches in Iran.
