The fifth meeting of the Women and Sport Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Iran was held with the participation of the Chair and members of the commission.

Farhadizad, NOC Vice-President and Chair of the Commission, opened the session
by presenting a brief report on the second edition of the “Olympic Ambassadors
Training Program,” which brought together 60 young athletes aged 12 to 15 from
the provinces of Khorasan Razavi, North Khorasan, South Khorasan, Golestan, and
Semnan, hosted by Astan Quds Razavi. The program aimed to cultivate young
ambassadors through sessions on ethics, Olympic values, athlete protection,
responsible use of social media, and the history of the Olympic Movement. The
first item on the agenda was discussed with Dr. Moradi, Secretary of the
Physical Fitness Federation, focusing on avenues for collaboration between the
Women’s Commission and the federation. It was agreed that in the first phase, educational
workshops on athlete protection would be organized in five provinces, with
selected athletes and coaches participating. The commission will be responsible
for designing the curriculum and appointing instructors. Furthermore, the
commission approved the organization of a training course for women’s team
managers, in coordination with the Solidarity Program. In addition, certain
commission members were tasked with drafting guidelines for child safeguarding
in sports venues and clubs, to be implemented in collaboration with the
Ministry of Sport and Youth.
