A training course on the ADEL anti-doping platform was organized for coaches of teams set to compete at the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain. The program, hosted at the National Olympic Academy, brought together representatives from the Judo, Muay Thai, Handball, Kabaddi, and 3x3 Basketball federations.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The two-day course (August 16–17) was
conducted by experts from the Iran National Anti-Doping Organization (Iran
NADO), with 26 federation representatives in attendance. Participants were introduced
to the latest anti-doping rules and regulations, registered on WADA’s ADEL
system, and completed an online module to obtain certification. In line with
the Asian Olympic Council’s regulations, athletes and coaches at the Asian
Youth Games must hold a valid ADEL anti-doping certificate to be eligible for
accreditation and receive their Games ID card.
