The third meeting of the National Olympic Committee's Women and Sport Commission was held in the National Olympic Committee's meeting hall with the participation of members of the Commission and special guest, President of the Sports for All Federation.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The meeting was
focused on expanding cooperation with the Sports for All Federation and
empowering female athletes. Initially, Dr. Mahin Farhadizad, the Vice-President
of the National Olympic Committee and the Chair of the Women's and Sports
Commission, emphasized the importance of teaching the Olympic values and
awareness to adolescent girls. Referring to the necessity of protecting
athletes, she highlighted that cooperation with the Federation was effective in
promoting girls' physical and mental health and health. The president of the
Federation, submitting a report on the actions of the NF, emphasized the slogan
"Sport for All, Sports for the People".
In the next part of the meeting,
members of the commission discussed and suggested to promote women's sports in
under-developed areas with mobile sports facilities, promoting and facilitating
sports activities in the workplace and administrative environments, the
requirement of English language learning for coaches and national team managers
to promote international communications.
