In the meeting of the NOC Executive Board, the rewards for the medalists of the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain and the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh were determined. Also, by the decision of the Executive Board, Arash Farhadian was elected as the Iranian Delegation Chef de Mission in the Asian Beach Games and Reza Shajie as the Director of the National Olympic Committee's National Team Monitoring Center.

Alinejad, the NOC Secretary-General, answered the questions of reporters at the
end of the 53rd Executive Board meeting. Regarding the resolutions of the
meeting, the Secretary General of the Committee stated: "The rewards for
the medalists of these two events were determined in today's meeting”. Alinejad
emphasized that the Olympic Committee, based on a permanent custom, awards
podium prizes to medalists of Asian and Olympic events.
Dr. Alinejad added at the end of
the Executive Board meeting: "At the meeting of the Olympic Council of
Asia in Kuwait, it was decided that the Asian Beach Games be held in Sainya
(China) in May. The games were scheduled to be held in 2020, but were first
postponed and then canceled. With the approval of the President of the National
Olympic Committee and members of the Executive Board, Arash Farhadian was elected
as the Chef de Mission. With the proposal of NCO President Mr. Khosravi Vafa and
the approval of the Executive Board of the Committee, Dr. Reza Shajie, who had
previously been activated as the Acting Director of the National Teams
Monitoring Center, was selected as the Director of this center”. Mehdi Olfati, the Iranian Olympic gymnast, was
also honored for his meritorious work in winning the Asian gold medal and
recording the move.
