On the occasion of International Museum Day, the renovated and equipped storage facility of the National Olympic Museum was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Alinejad, Secretary-General of the National Olympic Committee.

(storage) is the main pillar of a museum in the proper storage and preservation
of cultural and historical objects and properties; the repository of the
National Sport Olympic Paralympic Museum is located in the National Olympic
Committee with an area of over one hundred and fifty square meters.
The project to improve and equip
the repository began last year and ended in the new year; this project was
implemented in two phases. The first phase was the physical organization of the
repository space, including mechanical, electrical installations, insulation,
floor and body coverings, fire-resistant ceilings, fire alarm and extinguishing
systems, and standard doors, and the second phase was specialized equipment for
the repository, including fixed and mobile cabinets, a quarantine room, a
workshop and restoration laboratory, and a repository manager's room, all of
which were built according to the model of the Lausanne Olympic Museum
treasury. The ceremony was attended by Seyyed Hassan Tabatabaei, advisor to the
NOC President, and Farhad Tolokian, Director of the National Sports Museum.
A birthday celebration for
Olympic medalists born in May was also held at the Paralympic Hall, with the
presence of senior officials of the National Olympic Committee and with the
support of the National Sport, Olympic, Paralympic Museum.
