NOC Women’s Vice President: “OCA is committed to achieve gender equality in sports in the Old Continent”

Iran NOC; Tehran: Farhadizad stated regarding this meeting: “99 representatives from 45 Asian countries attended this 3-day seminar along with the chairs of Gender Equality Commissions from Africa, America, Europe and Oceania. During these three days, discussions, dialogues and exchanges of views focused on the goals of the seminar, such as promoting the strategic plan of the Gender Equality, strengthening and active participation, and increasing the capacity of National Olympic Committees to identify challenges and opportunities for gender equality.

The Vice President of the National Olympic Committee also referred to the presentation of the activities of the Iranian Sports and Women's Commission in this seminar and added: "In addition to showing a clip of the activities of the women's championship sports in Iran, which was well received, a report was presented on the activities of the National Olympic Committee's Women's and Sports Commission."
