The first coordination meeting for evaluation of the national federations to participate in the upcoming Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games was hold.

Hashemi, the NOC Secretary-General, the Representatives from International
Relations Department, National Teams Monitoring Center and NOC President’s
Advisor formed the meetings with volunteer federations. Bowling and Billiards,
Skating, Sports Associations (Sepak Takraw, Floorball and Jiu-Jitsu), Chess,
Football (Futsal), Hockey (Indoor), Muay Thai, Skiing (Roller Skiing), Sports
for All (Electronic Sports), 3x3 Basketball, Cycling Badminton, Swimming (25 m
swimming) participated in separate briefings, and explained the status of their
teams to be sent to this edition of games. In the following, after examining
the status of the national teams of various disciplines and the questions and
answers, it was decided that finally, after examining the status of the
national teams, according to their participation in the upcoming international
competitions and their chances of winning medals; delegation will be formed. The
rescheduled AIMAG which has been postponed three times due to Covid-19
pandemic, will be held as of 21 to 30 of November 2024 in Bangkok-Chonburi.
