In a meeting hosted by NOC President, Mr. Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa, Bader Mohammad Al-Thayeb, the International Handball Federation’ (IHF) Asia Representative and Asian Handball Treasurer expressed satisfaction with the progress Iran has made in Handball.

Khosravi Vafa, the President of the National Olympic Committee, while welcoming
the Bader Mohammad Al-Thayeb, the International Handball Federation’ (IHF) Asia
Representative and Asian Handball Treasurer, said: "Assigning the hosting
of the Asian junior handball competitions to our country shows your trust in
Iran's handball and our good hosting, and we hope that this support will continue
from the Iran Handball Federation." In addition, while appreciating the
support of the Ministry of Sports and the National Olympic Committee for
handball, Bader Mohammad Al-Thayeb expressed: “Your country hosting the Asian
Junior Championships is a confirmation of the support of the International
Federation for Iranian handball, because during Mr. Pakdel's term of office, Iranian
handball has had an undeniable growth in the international arena, and on the
other hand, there is a friendly and supportive bilateral relationship between
Iran Handball and the IF, and their tireless efforts made us assign the host of
10th edition of Asian Boys' Juniors to Iran”.
