The 32nd meeting of the NOC Executive Board was held with presence of all members.
Iran NOC; Tehran: after the
Executive Board Meeting, Dr. Seyed Manaf Hashemi, the NOC Secretary General,
stated: “The meeting included three main agendas and a few issues outside of
it, the first agenda is about the 2024 Olympic medalists’ podium reward and the
second was about the Peace and Sports Commission report. The most important
agenda of today's meeting was regarding the medalists' podium reward in the
2024 Paris Olympics, which was approved based on the opinion of the Executive Board.
The number was approved in domestic currency and it is a big event for which the
athletes were waiting, of course, this reward is apart from the support
packages, salaries, medical support, nutrition, etc. For coaches, the highest
medal will be considered”. NOC Secretary-General also highlighted that so far
17 disciplines have been registered in for the upcoming Games.
